The American Space Exploration Agency NASA offers Internships in 2021-2022 academic sessions in most of the state-of-the-art departments for students and fresh grads to gain professional experience.
So do you want to be a part of space exploration company NASA by contributing to the most prestigious space agency in the world? You can do so by applying for the local or international internships available at NASA. Interns at NASA can engage in real-life projects involving missions like returning to the moon and exploring Mars.
There are two kinds of internships available at NASA. The first one only takes in US citizens. The second type of internship is offered to students from selected countries by NASA. These internships are highly competitive and are being offered to take up at one of many NASA field centers. These interns will be able to work under the mentorship of NASA researchers. These internships are offered three times a year spring, summer and autumn.
NASA Internship Stipend:
There is a monthly stipend available to most of the interns working at NASA. The amount of the stipend depends upon the length of the internship and the qualification of the intern. With that, the interns may be offered nice accommodation and other benefits during their NASA Missions.
Interns who are relocating from another city, state, or country will have to manage their own housing and its expenses, though some assistance in the form of providing a list of housing options will be provided by NASA.
NASA Internship Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 out of 4.0. They should be enrolled in a full-time program pursuing an under or postgraduate degree and should not be less than 16 years in age at the time of application.
Interns must be US citizens for the local internships. The international internships are available to students from Australia, Canada, Brazil, Europe, Jordan, Israel, Lithuania, United Arab Emirates, Sweden, Tobago, Trinidad, Portugal, South Korea, New Zealand, Norway, and Mexico.
Experience Requirements for NASA Internship:
